TARAN HOUSE
Taran house-workshop is located in the Khimki district on a site forested with birches, maples and pines not far from the Moscow river.
The dimensions of the house were formed based on the concept of the perimeter development of the site, the location of the trees and the multiplicity of the sizes of building materials.
The concept of multiplicity of dimensions made it possible to accurately calculate the amount of building material in advance at the design stage and build a house with a minimum amount of scrap, which reduced costs and time.
The wooden frame made of timber is connected with the help of tie-ins and mortgages with minimal use of metal corners, which are cold bridges, which made it possible to avoid additional heat losses.
This approach made it possible to leave structural elements in the interior and exterior undecorated.
In cross section, the house consists of beams of 3.5 m, racks of 2.5 m, and rafters of 3 m each, which made it possible to use six-meter lumber without trimming
In the longitudinal direction, the step of the structures is 2.5 m due to the dimensions of the OSB boards on the outside and the plywood inside.
The vapor barrier of the house is made with a foil film, all the joints of which are glued with a special adhesive tape, which makes the internal volume of the house completely sealed and prevents the leakage of warm air to the outside.
All joints of wooden surfaces are sealed with self-expanding sealing tapes.
All large windows and a glass door based on energy-efficient sprayed double-glazed windows are protected by façade-style sliding metal shutters.
Thanks to a progressive underfloor heating system based on an air source heat pump, ventilation with heat recovery and LED lighting with light sensors, it was possible to achieve maximum comfort with minimum energy costs for heating, cooling and lighting. (energy efficiency class B)
Weather-dependent automation with room temperature correction allows you to maintain a constant temperature in the house all year round. Also, in order to save money, it is possible to control the temperature in the house remotely via the Internet.

CLT HOUSE
CLT House 2023
The form of the plan was formed based on the urban planning restrictions in force on the site, trees and fire safety distances from neighboring houses. The area from the gas pipeline divides the site diagonally in half. This caused the building body to rotate 60 degrees. The structure of the house is made of CLT panels with insulation and a ventilated facade.

FLAT
Flat Moscow 2018
The layout of the apartment was designed based on existing restrictions, such as load-bearing walls, risers and ventshachts, as well as the wishes of the customer.
According to those tasks, there was a need for a large children's room, a dressing room with access from the bedroom and the rest of the standard set of rooms.
Most of the furniture is built-in, made to order.
There are frescoes on the walls in the bedroom and the nursery.
In the bathroom there is an onyx panel with illumination.
The floors in the kitchen, hallway and bathrooms are terrazzo.
In the living room and bedrooms - an array of ash.
Venetian plaster on the walls.
GIRA electrics, FLOSS lamps and built-in LED lights in construction design.

VILLA IN SPAIN
Villa in Spain 2007
The villa is located in Spain not far from Marbellia in the mountains.
There are many cork oaks growing on the site, which, according to the norms, were required to be preserved.
Also, from the additional factors affecting the project, there are restrictions on the total area of the building and the area of the above-ground part relative to the area of the site.
Another important project-forming factor was the movement of the sun and views of the sea. Thus, all these factors, as well as the customer's technical task, influenced the architectural concept.
The entrance to the house, the entrance to the garage and the main entrance to the house are on the middle level. This level also contains the living room, dining room, kitchen and storage rooms. One floor above are the bedrooms and terraces, and the floor below is home theater, swimming pool and spa area.

EXHIBITION IN GUM
Exhibition in GUM (main department store)
From the point of view of architecture and design of the exhibition, the main task was to master the entire space of the first line of the GUM store with exposition material.
The narrow, long and high gallery was filled with seemingly floating panels with photographs stretched on a suspension system. Such a design made it possible to master the second and third levels of the gallery and make the exhibition scale with the entire vertical space.

DIPLOMA PROJECT
The aim of this diploma project is to show the possibility of reclamation of almost deserted green urban areas with town planning restrictions.
Town planning situation
The parcel of land used for this diploma project is located in the Central Administrative District of Moscow at the intersection of Zemlyanoy Val and Nikoloyamskaya Naberezhnaya of Yauza River (the exact address is Zemlyanoy Val, estate № 59).
Restrictions:
– The landscape protection area.
– Landscape, constructive and functional regulations according to Scientific-Research and Design Institute of the General Plan of Moscow (GUP NIiPI Genplan) that determine the function, build-up area and the height of the spaces.
– Building lines and a neat line.
– The underground ventilation shaft zone.
– A large number of trees, some of valuable species.
The main idea of the project is to create light and transparent architecture integrated in the natural environment.
Preservation of surrounding trees being a prerequisite became a morphogenetic factor at projecting stage and defined the construction of an underground parking.

The use of relief differential enabled creation of the overground entrance to the first subterranean floor, and an approach ramp to reach the second floor.
The structure of the complex comprises functional junctions and spaces (halls, showrooms, a library, a lecture hall, a tea-room and a restaurant) that are linked to each other by a system of multi-level overpasses with stairs and ramps that are also a part of exhibition halls. The above ground part of the building is like hovering in the air, touching the ground just to create an entrance lobby, emergency exits and the big space of the concert hall.
Maximal glazing, elegant overpasses, operated roof, open sheds, pergolas and panoramic elevators give the sense of airiness, lightness thus providing the visual contact with the natural environment.
The main entrance from Zemlyanoy Val is highlighted by the hanging space of the hall with an advertising information screen.
Careful and attentive attitude towards the territory suggests preservation and development of already existing pathways with recreation zones.
